1. During registration you submit your full name and email address. We internally store your email address and name to ensure the integrity and safety of the sharemyNZ website and its members. It also enables us to create a more tailored website for you by being able to customise our communications with you.

2. Your email address and name will NEVER be publicly displayed on the sharemyNZ website nor will they be shared with a third party without your prior consent (such as your option to reveal your email address when you use the sharemyNZ messaging service).

3. Your name is used by the sharemyNZ administration team to communicate with you through emails during and after the registration process as set out in the terms of use agreement. External parties will NEVER have access to, or be able to see, your actual name.

4. You will be publicly known by your username at all times on the sharemyNZ website. Please select this carefully because it can not be changed once you have registered.

5. To allow sharemyNZ users the ability to share information with people in similar areas, the only personal information displayed on sharemyNZ is your region of birth and your region of current residence.

6. Members of the sharemyNZ website wishing to contact you through the ‘send a message’   function are not able to view your email address unless you select to reveal it to them.

7. sharemyNZ will not spam your email address and has taken all possible steps in an attempt to  ensure that third parties, computer programs, scripts and the like are unable to spam your email address as well.

8. You decide what content you post onto the sharemyNZ website – text, photos and videos.

9. You choose who you share your content with. You are able to select whether this content is   private (only able to be seen by members in your favourite people list) or public (able to be seen by all members and users of the sharemyNZ website).

10. The sharemyNZ website does not conduct any credit card transactions – instead all transactions performed for the purpose of businesses registering a full profile, are completed via a third party provider – Direct Payment Solutions (DPS). 11. The members of sharemyNZ publish links to third party websites. sharemyNZ can not provide  any guarantee as to your privacy once you leave this website.

12. Please be aware that when you engage in public blogs and forums other members are able to  comment on these without prior invitation to do so.

13. In order for any member to be able to engage in any plugging, blogging, forum and comment  writing or messaging, they must have signed up, verified their details and agreed to the sharemyNZ terms of use.

14. sharemyNZ users are able to at anytime modify or remove parts of, or all of their profile, by   logging in and editing their profile.

15. sharemyNZ member accounts are secured by member created passwords. sharemyNZ takes   precautions to ensure that member account information is kept private and reasonable measures are in place to protect the data stored in our database. Access to this database is limited  to those employees who need to access it to perform their jobs – such as our customer service and technical staff.

16. From time to time we may make changes to our privacy policy. If we make changes we will   post them on this website. A user is bound by any minor changes to the policy when they use the sharemyNZ website after those changes have been posted.
